Refund and Returns Policy

I strive to ensure your satisfaction with my artwork. However, due to the limited edition nature of many prints, I cannot accept all returns.

For damaged prints:

  • If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me within 5 days of receipt with photos of the damage sent to info@lydiashnitzer.com.
  • I will refund return shipping costs for the damaged piece and promptly replace it with a newly produced replacement artwork.
  • Damaged artwork will be securely disposed of or reclaimed for future use. Replacement artwork will have the same limited edition number.

For incorrectly shipped artwork:

  • I strive for accuracy and take full responsibility for any instances where I accidentally send the wrong artwork.
  • In such cases, I will happily cover all return shipping costs for the incorrect piece.
  • To expedite the process, please place a new, separate order for the correct artwork. This ensures you receive the desired piece as quickly as possible.
  • Upon receiving the returned artwork in its original condition, I will promptly issue a full refund for the original purchase price and shipping costs of the incorrect artwork.

For other returns:

  • Unopened artwork in its original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receipt, with the buyer covering return shipping costs.
  • Only undamaged returns can be refunded. To ensure the safe return of your artwork, I highly advise opting for insured shipping.
  • After inspection of the returned artwork, and if found in its original packaging and unopened, a refund will be issued excluding the original shipping costs within 30 days.

Please note:

  • This policy does not apply to custom prints, which are non-refundable due to their personalized nature.
  • Return shipping costs for non-damaged prints are the responsibility of the customer.

  • To initiate a return, please contact me at info@lydiashnitzer.com for instructions before sending anything back.
  • Refunds exclude the original shipping cost even for returns within the “other returns” timeframe.
  • I currently do not offer pre-paid return labels.
